We love a mudroom! This newly built one just received the finishing touches and was part of a home remodel in New Canaan, CT. The Client asked for a space that has a clean, simple feel with plenty of storage. The custom millwork throughout was added to complete the look, while the herringbone heated tile floor keeps feet toasty during winter. Ideal for everyone including man’s best friend.
A new look with a nod to the old
The Client wanted this New Canaan, CT estate to look as if it had been here for years. To achieve this, reclaimed antique wide plank flooring and hand-hewn rustic timbers were used throughout the home. The cozy feel continues In this sitting room on the first floor with a native fieldstone fireplace as the focal point.
