The goal for the design, construction and materials in this project was to give the sense the house had been there for 100 years, while utilizing all of today’s technologies. Reclaimed antique wide plank flooring, hand-hewn rustic timbers in the beamed cathedral family room, built-ins and a paneled library made from antique reclaimed hemlock deliver on this design aspect. Native field stone appears on the exterior wall cladding, canted stone walls and throughout the hardscape. A Crestron© system controls the home's interior and exterior audio, video, lighting control and pool integration.
